British cricketer Mark Wood has teamed up with Alzheimer's Society, raising awareness of dementia during World Alzheimer's Month.

The bowler, whose grandmother suffered from the disease, commented 'I know just how horrendous dementia is, and the impact that it has on everyone affected by it – friends, family and carers. That's why I've decided to support Alzheimer's Society, because it will take a society to beat dementia. I want to see a world where dementia can no longer devastate lives'.
